Annoying cipan 2

This incident happened about 2 weeks ago..before Chinese New year ...

A very angry father stormed into my room bringing his 18 months old- son ...post MMR injection, complaining his son unable to move both lower limbs...

ok...the issues :

1. The injection was given by my JM, at one of the 'Klinik Desa'...

- When i assessed, the injection site was correct, no haematoma, swelling or redness...so no issue of mis'injecting' at the wrong place

2. The father was so anxious and very2 violent...He was yelling here & there...wanted to burn my Klinik Desa.... wanted to sue & everything despite reassurance...

For me, the child was ok...tone normal...reflexes normal....just that maybe he could not bear the pain...becoz last immunisation was about 6 months back...a child might have forgotten how pain feels...

3. The father even called me "sial"..."bodoh"....& etc...etc.... and also scolded his wife in front of me...but luckily i didnt say anything...I just rang up HTJ, spoke to the paeds MO, saying that i dun think anything's wrong with this child, but this is a case of a very anxious & furious father....so the paeds Mo agreed to admit the child...We sent him by our ambulance...

the next day the child was discharged...At ward, he was running here & there as if the ward is his playground...

Moral of the story : TAk payahla nak maki2, or jerit2....we are all human.....takkanla doktor/ staff kesihtana nak buat something yg menyakitkan...Kalau sayang anak sekali pun, jgn sampai menyakitkan org lain...

Tuhan saja nak duga si bapak ni...at last sendiri yg malu...
